NI and ProjectSAM Alternate Autoload Sound Sets

Posted: January 25, 2013

We have posted alternate automatic loading sound sets for our ProjectSAM Symphobia, Native Instruments Abbey Road 60s Drums, and Native Instruments Abbey Road 70s Drums Sibelius integrations. These alternate sound sets accomodate differences in library folder structure and file names under specific conditions which will cause automatic loading to fail with a "File Not Found" error.

Please note that there are no functional changes with these alternate sound sets, and for most users they are not necessary.

Who Needs the Alternate Sound Sets?

ProjectSAM Symphobia

If you have updated to Symphobia v1.3 from a previous version of the library using the Symphobia 1.3 Update installer, the alternate sound set is not needed.

If you have updated to Symphobia v1.3 by performing a clean install, or Symphobia v1.3 is the first version of the library that you have used, the alternate Symphobia sound set will be required for automatic loading to work properly.

Native Instruments Abbey Road 60s/70s Drums

If the standard sound set does not return a "File Not Found" error, this alternate sound set is not needed.

If the standard sound set returns a "File Not Found" error and the Abbey Road 60s/70s Drums library has been updated to v1.1, the alternate sound set may restore automatic loading.

Notably, users who received the Abbey Road 60s/70s Drums library as part of Native Instrument's Komplete bundle may need to use the alternate sound set due to differences in the folder structure.

Where to Find Them?

The alternate sound sets are available for registered users of these integrations under "Additional Files" after logging in to your user account.
